Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you purchase a resource from Optom Mastery.

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Optom Mastery. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Products

Optom Mastery provides educational resources intended to support learning and professional development.

Products may be supplied as online resources or physical printed resources, as stated on the relevant product page.

All resources are supplied for the purchaser's personal use only.

2. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Prices and any applicable delivery charges will be shown before an order is completed.

Promotional offers and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions and availability.

3. Online resources

Where a product is sold as an Online Edition, access will be provided electronically using the details supplied at checkout.

Online Editions are provided for viewing through Optom Mastery and are not supplied as downloadable PDF files unless specifically stated otherwise.

Please ensure that the email address entered at checkout is correct and check your junk or spam folder if you have not received your access information.

4. Cancellation and refunds for online resources

By requesting that your online resource is supplied before the end of the usual 14-day cancellation period, you expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning and acknowledge that once supply begins, you lose your right to cancel the purchase due to a change of mind.

Change-of-mind refunds are therefore not available once immediate access to the digital resource has begun following this consent.

This does not affect your legal rights where digital content is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

UK rules require express consent and acknowledgement before immediate digital content is supplied where the consumer will lose their cancellation right. Legislation.gov.uk

5. Physical products and delivery

Where a product is sold as a Physical Edition, it will be delivered to the delivery address supplied at checkout.

Physical orders will be sent using a tracked delivery service. Tracking information will be provided where available.

Any estimated dispatch or delivery timeframe will be stated on the product page, at checkout or in your order confirmation.

Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and correct before placing your order.

Unless another timeframe has been agreed with the customer, UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days. GOV.UK

6. Cancellation and returns for physical products

You have the right to cancel a physical product order within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To request a return, please contact optommastery@gmail.com within this period.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel, the physical product must be returned within a further 14 days.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product.

We recommend using a tracked return service and keeping proof of postage.

Customers may reasonably inspect the product after receiving it. However, where an item has been written in, marked, damaged or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, any refund may be reduced to reflect the resulting reduction in value.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method in accordance with applicable consumer law.

The 14-day cancellation and return periods, as well as the ability to account for diminished value caused by excessive handling, come from the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Legislation.gov.uk

7. Damaged, faulty or missing physical orders

Physical orders are sent using tracked delivery.

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, arrives damaged, is faulty, or you receive the incorrect item, please contact:

optommastery@gmail.com

Please provide your name and order details. Where an item has arrived damaged, we may also ask for photographs of the item and its packaging so that we can investigate the issue.

We will review the matter and provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

8. Online access included with a Physical Edition

Where a Physical Edition includes online access, that access forms part of the Physical Edition purchase.

If the Physical Edition order is cancelled and refunded, the associated online access may also be withdrawn.

Any online access supplied remains subject to the personal-use and intellectual-property conditions below.

9. Personal use and intellectual property

All Optom Mastery resources are for the purchaser's personal use only.

Resources must not be copied, reproduced, resold, shared, distributed, uploaded, screen-recorded for redistribution, or made available to another person without prior written permission from Optom Mastery.

Online account details or access links must not be shared with another person.

All applicable intellectual property rights in original Optom Mastery materials remain with Optom Mastery and/or their respective rights holders.

Purchase of a resource does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained within it.

10. Educational information

Optom Mastery resources are provided for educational purposes.

They are designed to support learning and should not be treated as a substitute for applicable professional guidance, university requirements, examination requirements, clinical protocols or independent professional judgement.

We do not guarantee any particular examination, academic or professional outcome from using our resources.

11. Problems with an order

If you experience a problem with your purchase, online access, physical order, delivery or return, please contact:

optommastery@gmail.com

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The terms applicable to your purchase will be those made available to you when you place your order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom.

Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights available to you.
